CONTRIBUTION OF REGIONS TO THE TECHNOLOGICAL SOVEREIGNTY OF THE COUNTRY: USING THE POSSIBILITIES OF STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
93-115 | 354.72 KB | Full text |
This article is devoted to the study of regional aspects of measuring the level of technological sovereignty. The work talks about the impossibility of achieving sovereignty in a separate region. However, it is possible to conduct a comparative analysis of the contribution of regions to its achievement. The contribution of regions to the formation of technological sovereignty of Russia was assessed on the basis of the aggregated index proposed by the authors in their previous works. In this work, the authors tried to answer the question: to what extent does the system of indicators used to construct various aggregated indices of scientific and technological development reflect the real state of affairs. A comparative analysis of the clustering of regions by two sets of indicators based on data from the same year (2022) showed that the division of regions into clusters, in addition to the variables used in the cluster analysis, has hidden reasons, the identification of which will optimize the policy for managing the scientific and technological development of regions.
Keywords: rating, region, regional development, scientific and technological development, technological sovereignty, cluster analysis.
