TRANSFORMATION OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE PARADIGMS AND FORMATION OF SANCTIONS-RESILIENT LOGISTICS IN THE “RUSSIA – CENTRAL ASIA” SYSTEM

The article examines how the sanctions shocks of 2022-2024 and the transition to a polycentric model of the world economy are reshaping theoretical approaches to international trade and the practical organization of logistics. The authors point out that the new emerging paradigm of international trade in Eurasia is characterized by a synthesis of elements of logistics protectionism, the theory of geoeconomic corridors, and the concept of sanctions resilience. The methodology of the study combines a critical review of classical theories (from Ricardo to Krugman), a quantitative assessment of structural shifts in Russia’s trade with Central Asian countries over 2010–2024, and a SWOT analysis of the region’s logistics infrastructure. The analysis of empirical data reveals a divergent transformation: on the one hand, industrial cooperation is deepening; on the other, Central Asia is emerging as a re-export hub. The key finding is that overcoming the contradiction between growing transit potential and infrastructure constraints requires a coordinated strategy of logistics sovereignty. The research findings can serve as a theoretical and applied basis for developing economic security policies and transport corridors in Eurasia.
