The article presents the results of the analysis of the main trends and features of the strategic partnership of the EAEU countries in the pharmaceutical industry. The influence of external shocks on the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the common market of medicines in the EAEU is analyzed. It is shown that the pharmaceutical industry is characterized by high sensitivity to external shocks and is very dependent on imports. The main problems of import substitution in the industry under study and the measures taken at the supranational level to overcome them are presented. The process of industrial cooperation in the field of production and development of pharmaceutical products, as well as the implementation of joint projects included in the “EAEU Industrialization Map”, is analyzed.
